Allan is a qualified solicitor and trade mark attorney. Prior to joining FFW Allan was the Managing Director of a leading firm of trade mark attorneys and a Director of a successful International brand consultancy. He also has practice experience as a barrister in Hong Kong specialising in intellectual property. Latterly he has specialised in name clearance and protection projects for brand owners. Allan is a frequent lecturer on trade marks and related issues in the UK and abroad, tutors at the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys and has written and edited a number of publications.
