Colin is dually qualified both as a solicitor and an attorney at law, licensed in the state of Illinois, U.S.A. Prior to joining FFW, Colin worked in the global headquarters of one of the world's largest law firms in Chicago, as well as in one of Chicago's leading law firms.

While in the United States, Colin practised trade mark and copyright law with regard to prosecution, licensing, contract negotiation and federal court litigation.

At FFW, Colin currently advises a number of major multinational corporations relating to trade mark prosecution, opposition and brand protection matters.

Colin is also fluent in spoken and written Japanese.
